The school prides itself on its outstanding reputation for games, music and drama, as well as the wide range of other activities that members of staff provide.  Although there is no compulsion to take part, every pupil is encouraged to make full use of the opportunities available, and all pupils who decide to take part are expected to meet commitments once they have been made.  This website features a taster of the range of extracurricular activities available and includes a list of the clubs and societies that regularly meet during lunchtimes, after school or at weekends.  In cricket, rugby, hockey and netball, the main games, there are regular fixtures for all year groups with state and independent schools.  The school has it's own heated, outdoor swimming pool, fully-equipped gymnasium, multigym and extensive games fields.
