34 CRGS students have received offers from the Oxbridge Colleges this year after coming through the demanding selection process.  11 offers come from Oxford University and 23 from Cambridge.  A Colchester Gazette article on 2 February lists all the students, their colleges and their courses.  Their photograph features some of the successful students but a special mention should go to Rose Bickerton, Frank Broomfield, Chris Cheyney, Ben Ridley-Johnson,Tom Watkins, Jeffrey Yim, Joe Spencer, Guy Linch and Jos Swanwick who were otherwise engaged when the photograph was taken.

Year 13 students are currently receiving offers from a wide range of leading universities including LSE, Durham, Exeter, Bristol, Leeds, Warwick, Nottingham, UCL, Imperial and King’s and they are to be congratulated on their successful UCAS applications.  The offers will continue to flow in this term and are at this stage mostly conditional.  The students will be working hard in the coming months to meet the challenging targets set and secure their place at their first choice university.
