Christmas Pudding

We are selling the Ultimate Plum Pudding again this year, one of the finest Christmas puddings you can buy: it's been endorsed by the BBC Good Food Magazine and by Chef magazine as being "as good as the best home-made" and has won a food ‘Oscar’ – a gold award at the Great Taste Awards. The Ultimate Puddings Company makes puddings for Harvey Nichols, and now Fortnum & Mason as well. The pudding is made by a small craft manufacturer in Cumbria and it’s absolutely gorgeous. All the vine fruits are soaked overnight in lots of brandy and dry sherry. Fresh breadcrumbs and freshly grated carrot help give the pudding a lighter texture. Ingredients are top quality and include almonds, walnuts, stem ginger, apricots and cherries as well as the best, juicily alcoholic, raisins and sultanas. A gluten free version is available as well. Also available to order are a gorgeous triple chocolate pudding, a delicious ginger pudding, a zingy lemon pudding and a fantastic sticky toffee pudding. If you haven’t already, please send your order into the reception office by Thursday 20th October, with full payment - cheques only please, no cash. They should be delivered via your child in early December. All proceeds will go to the CRGSA to benefit the school. NB: All puddings contain wheat, eggs, nuts and soya, and may contain mustard. A full list of ingredients can be found on the company's website- www.ultimateplumpudding.co.uk

CRGSA Calendar

This year there is a new CRGSA initiative to create a school calendar using the original artwork of CRGS students. We thought it deserved to be shared with the rest of the CRGS community.

Calendars, with school dates included, will be available before Christmas, for example you can get your copy when you come to see West Side Story.  An order form will be emailed to you in the next newsletter.  Cost will be £6 so why not order enough for presents as well as your own copy?

CRGSA Christmas Parking

Once again, we will be organising the CRGSA Christmas car parking within the school grounds. Access to the car park will be from the rear Creffield Road entrance and the gates will be open from 8.30am allowing exit until 6pm. Customers may walk to town from either this gate or from the front gate on Lexden Road. At a charge of £4 per car for the day, this is an absolute bargain and you can get your Christmas shopping done at leisure.

Our car park is open from 8.30am-6pm on the following dates:

  • 26th November
  • 3rd December
  • 10th December
  • 17th December
