Celebrations on A level Results Day

Posted On: 13/08/15

Today was a very happy occasion at the school as the Year 13 students celebrated their A level success.  Most students had already secured their university place before they arrived at school this morning, and others received good news in the course of the day. Top performers George Manley, Haowen Kwan and Anna Skaria, photographed, all have Oxbridge places for Medicine thanks to their stellar results. Over a hundred students obtained 3 A grades or more this year, and they are to be congratulated on their outstanding achievement. Pati Humbles (even though she left in May!) had prepared cakes especially for the occasion, and the students enjoyed each other's company on the school site for most of the morning.

Special mention must be made of star performer Dom Giles who got 4 A*s and an A and secured his place to study Medicine at UCL, despite tragically losing his father to illness during the A level period. Our deepest sympathies and best wishes to Dom as well as congratulations on his results. Dom's dad would certainly be proud of his son's character and achievements, as we all are at CRGS.
