An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the country’s leading selective schools, (awarded The Sunday Times Parent Power East Anglia State Secondary School of the Decade and The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence East Anglia 2026).
This is a unique and rewarding position with sole responsibility for the preparation, cooking and service of dinner for up to 35 boarders and duty staff. This person will have the ability to follow an agreed menu and recipes, as well as knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
We are open to applications from candidates who have experience of cooking meals from scratch and who want to develop their skills in a welcoming and supportive kitchen.

Part-time Cleaner
Required immediately
Permanent – 2 or 4 hours per day Monday-Friday
Salary: LGPS 1 point 2 - £12.65 per hour
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in one of the country’s leading selective schools, (awarded The Sunday Times Parent Power East Anglia State Secondary School of the Decade and The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence East Anglia 2026), for a Part-time Cleaner to join the friendly Site team at our welcoming and supportive school.
The role will involve cleaning in all areas of the school and replenishing supplies, working independently but as part of a larger team.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, flexible, trustworthy and self-motivated.
The successful applicant will be required to work 43 weeks per year (term time and four weeks in the school holidays: 2 weeks in August, October and February half term).
Hours: 2 or 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday, with a choice of shift patterns: 2 hours within 6.00-9.00am and/or 3.40-5.40pm

Chief Invigilator

Salary: £12,572 actual annual salary
(FTE £27,254 - £28,598) LG Scale 5, spine point 9-12
Annualised 767 hours to be worked across 39 school weeks per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the country’s leading selective schools, (awarded The Sunday Times Parent Power East Anglia State Secondary School of the Decade and The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence East Anglia 2026), to join a welcoming and supportive team committed to the exam success of our students.
The successful candidate will have previous invigilation experience, including invigilation of individual rooms and access arrangements, be conversant with JCQ and exam board regulations, will have experience of working within a busy team environment, be IT literate (Word, Excel and Outlook), will have exceptional communication skills and be organised and calm under pressure. Professionalism and attention to detail in this role are paramount.
Working hours: This is an annualised contract to reflect the flexible working required for this role. 767 hours to be worked across 39 school weeks, to ensure that all exam periods are covered, with additional ad hoc exams and planning work required outside of the fixed exam periods.
September/October - 11+ testing
December/January/February – mock exams
April/May/June – mock exams and public exams
