Staff

Evening and weekend supervision is shared between the residential boarding staff, who aim to build strong professional relationships with CRGS boarders. As well as academic support, for example, help with UCAS applications and personal statements, students are supported emotionally and pastorally throughout the year. The Headmaster has overall responsibility for boarding, and the Head of Boarding is Mrs J Chandler

Jazmin Chandler changed her role from Head of Year in the Sixth Form to Head of Boarding in 2024, having worked at CRGS for 30 years. She has a BA (Hons) in English Literature, and a PGCE from Homerton College, Cambridge. She has been Safeguarding Lead for KS5 for many years and has a huge amount of experience working with teenagers from both a pastoral and academic standpoint. Jazmin enjoys walking, the theatre and reading. CRGS is already a home from home for her, so moving into School House felt like a natural extension of a very long relationship with the school. Jazmin lives in School House with her husband, Paul, their eldest daughter, Saffron and five beautiful pet cats (probably four too many!).
