We are seeking a professional Librarian who is enthusiastic, energetic and willing to play their role in the Library to the full.
The successful applicant will be a team player with a passion for books and reading, preferably with previous school library experience, who is able to relate well to students in order to enthuse them and make our Library a stimulating learning environment. They should also be creative with library initiatives and events.

Kitchen Porter
Required from 3 November 2025
25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)
Salary: LGPS 1 point 2 - £14,141 per annum actual annual salary (£24,413 FTE)
Our friendly and supportive Catering team are looking to appoint a Permanent Part-time Kitchen Porter. The role will involve cleaning the kitchen, washing up, loading the dishwasher and occasionally assisting the Catering team with basic food preparation.
The successful applicant will be motivated, reliable, hardworking and possess a positive attitude. We are looking for a good team player who can cope with a fast-paced, busy environment.
Experience of working in a kitchen, retail or cleaning environment is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
We offer a friendly, professional work environment with an experienced team and a contributory pension.
The working pattern is between 9.30am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only, including inset days, with additional hours for ad hoc events.

Grounds Maintenance Assistant
Salary range: £25,583-£25,989 per annum
LG Scale 3, spine point 5-6 (depending on candidate)
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Assistant to work in the grounds of a busy secondary school.
Duties will include maintaining the sports fields and school grounds to a high standard.
You must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Weekend Cook

This is a unique and rewarding position with sole responsibility for the preparation, cooking and service of dinner for up to 35 boarders and duty staff. This person will have the ability to follow an agreed menu and recipes, as well as knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
